![]() Star Wars, Yeah. I'm familiar with it. Ha! My family and older friends know how I love Star Wars since, well, since the first movie blew my mind when I was 9. I can't remember the exact date when I saw the first movie, but for Empire, I do: My dad took me to the theater on Christmas morning. We arrived almost at the time that the ticket booth was opening, and I got to be the third person in line (that's how I remember it, but of course, I was only 12). We got tickets for the first show, which was in the afternoon. Of course, by the time I saw the movie, I already knew all of what was going to happen, including the big "daddy" surprise. So, one way or another, for all 5 movies after the original, I was completely aware of what the story was about. For this upcoming movie, they are keeping the plot a secret. Somehow, I know that there will be big surprises on this one, so I won't take risks: I got my ticket for the first show available, 2 months in advance! That is possible thanks to current technology, but current technology can also spoil the fun, so don't expect me to answer the phone, or to check Facebook, Twitter or even email that day! |
