Well, the forecast for both Moab and Cortez was not a very positive one for today. 50% chance for rain in Mesa verde at 11:00 AM made me worry about the possibility of canceling the Mesa Verde visit. So, I woke up very early in the morning, and by 5:00 AM I was already on the road. I did not get any rain, but every time a truck came for the other bound I got water, meaning that I was getting there just as the storm moved out. One thing I could not avoid was the cold. When I got to the Park, 10 minutes before opening, I was shivering. Anyway, getting there so early allowed me to get tickets to 2 guided tours: Cliff Palace and Balcony House, the only way to get inside these main attractions in the park. Unbelievable experience. There was more rain in the forecast for today. We had some menacing clouds and thunder, but nothing dropping just yet. Perhaps tonight...
Tomorrow I start my Journey back home. Thank you for joining me in this trip!
